Growing Paradise

There,
I see a field
of fresh, green grasses

Huge and empty it is
At the first time
I visited the field

One day,
I saw four girls
Each wearing a straw hat
And holding a basket
With gardener's stuffs in it

Hey, what will they do in this field?

As I watched over them
From this distance
I saw them planting four seeds
One seed, by a girl.

I kept on watching them
Who stayed at the field for a moment
Talking and laughing with each other
About the deed they have done

'I believe this field will be a paradise.'

I smiled upon hearing those words
Indeed, when the seeds grow,
I believe,
That this field will be a paradise

But is four seeds,
Enough to make this field become
A real, beautiful paradise?

I know the answer
As one of the girl came
Towards me

She said,

'Come here tomorrow,
And bring your own seeds,
And plant them with us.
Would you do that?'

A quick nod was my response back then.

...

And so,
I brought an apple seeds
When I came to that field
The day after

Interesting,
Since I found out that
There was more than the four girls before

There was...
Around 15 people
Including me
Who brought a basket with seeds

Mostly were girls
Yet there was also boys

And those girls were there, too

We gathered together
Talked about where we
Should plant each seed
So this field will be
A beautiful field

Then,
We hoed the soil
And sow the seeds
Covering it with the soil,
Watering it as much as needed

And after that,
We chatted again
About our vision
Of the future of this field

Imagining,
Hoping,
Believing
That it will become
A beautiful place to visit
Each time

A paradise for everyone.

...

Day by day passed
And the seeds slowly grew up
As we water them every day

There were some seeds which
Grown up as trees
There were also flowers
And many other kind of plants
They made the field looked like
Different from before

It was not just ours
But other people's as well

Yes, indeed.

Since that day,
More people
Came to the field
Plant yet another seeds
And water them

And the field you would see
Is the result of our efforts

We visited the field
Nearly every day
Sometimes we just chat
Sometimes,
We shared stories,
Or playing together in that enormous field

Ah, yes.

That field is really enormous
And we began to ponder
What if we asked more and more
People to join us

From sowing the seeds
Until the plants grown up
And we can do everything
Under the trees,
Between the bushes of flowers
And upon the fresh grasses
Together

...

So we did it,
And lots of people
Came to sow new seeds

We planted yet another seeds, too
As we thought that this field
Needs a lot of 'make-over'

Just like before,
They grew up
Slowly,
Day by day.

Various trees,
Bushes, flowers,
And many,
Many more.

See,
How beautiful is it?

You must see this now
Enchanting field

It is filled with
Different kinds of plants
Since they were a
Somewhat personal choice of each people
Who planted each seeds

Yet those things made
This field looked
Really unique.

And it created a deep,
Strong bonds between us
Ourselves,
Also with the field itself.

As we spend almost every day
In that field
Together.

As if...
It was..

Our Paradise.

The Paradise which is
Not just beautiful,
But magically give us
A togetherness,
A homey feeling.

And the Paradise is still growing...
